Extreme Heat Threatens Closure of Arizona Food Bank Charity

Goettl Air Conditioning, a leading heating and air conditioning company in Arizona, announced today the company donated two commercial evaporative air conditioners to Max’s Community Closet in July helping the charity to keep its doors open during the height of the hot summer months. The project, including the purchase and installation of the units, is valued at $12,000.

Phoenix Mayor Asks for Water Donations: Goettl Good Guys and The Sunny Plumber Offers to Match Community Donations!

Phoenix Mayor, Greg Stanton, called on the Phoenix community to donate water supplies to help benefit disable individuals, the homeless population, and other people and families in need. Kenneth D. Goodrich, a managing partner of Phoenix Peach LLC, announced that both Goettl Good Guys and The Sunny Plumber has started a campaign to not only encourage the community to help support the Mayor's requests, but has also offered to match any and all donations collected at Goettl's Tempe office until June 30, 2013.

Las Vegas Entrepreneur Establishes $100,000 Endowment for Veterans at College of Southern Nevada

Kenneth D. Goodrich, managing partner of Phoenix Peach LLC, announced later today that he has established a $100,000 scholarship endowment to benefit students enrolled at the Air Conditioning Technology Program at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). CSN plans to help veterans who graduate from the program purchase all of the essential tools they would need to immediately begin working in the HVAC industry within Southern Nevada. The endowment was envisioned by Goodrich to act as a subsidy to the current Post-9/11 GI Bill, which provides both educational finances and housing support to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service following September 10, 2011.
